Elixir in Cold and breathing discomfort


The ayurvedic formula, I am going to discuss is the oldest and traditional method that people were used to do but unfortunately due to greater acceptance of allopathic options, we Indians have stopped our traditional practices and homemade solutions.

The remedy formula:

The formula is for 2 glass water

Ingredients required:

1.    Take 2 glass of water in a pot

2.    Take 5 black pepper

3.    Take 5 cloves

4.    Take one bud of star anise (chakra phool)

5.    10-15 Tulsi leaves

6.    A bit of cinnamon (Dalchini)

7.    Small piece of ginger

8.    Small piece of jaggery as per taste


1.    Take all the ingredients from 1 to 10 mentioned above in a pot

2.    Boil the mixture till it reduced to 2/3rd of its original volume for at least 20-25 minutes.

3.    After completion, cool the extract to lukewarm, and take one cup 2-3 times a day.

4.    It will definitely help to reduce cold and breathing discomfort and also boost innate immunity.
